BRITNEY SPEARS' UK fans were left disappointed yesterday after waiting for hours at HEATHROW AIRPORT to welcome their teen-pop idol to LONDON, before discovering that she had cancelled her flight.
According to reports in UK tabloid The Star this morning (October 9), fans had gathered at the airport to welcome the pop princess to Britain, where she kicks off her tour at London Wembley Arena tomorrow night.
The newspaper claims that she refused to take the First Class 10-hour flight from Los Angeles after it was delayed, and decided instead to reschedule her arrival so that she will land in London just hours before she takes the Wembley stage.
As previously reported on nme.com, Britney had to reschedule her Birmingham shows because of technical difficulties. The tour dates are now:
