CRAIG DAVID ALL OVER YOUR MOBOS

CRAIG DAVID stole the headlines at the MOBO award ceremony in LONDON last night (October 4), walking away with three gongs.

The R&B sensation, nominated in six categories, picked up the awards for Best R&B Act, Best UK Newcomer and Best UK Single for 'Fill Me In'.

Other notable winners on the night at Alexandra Palace included Eminem for Best Hip Hop Act, Jamelia for Best UK Video with 'Money', DJ Luck & MC Neat, who picked up the prize in the Best UK Garage Act category, MJ Cole, who beat Timbaland and Dr Dre to Best Producer, BBC Radio One's Tim Westwood for Best Radio DJ, and Gabrielle, who walked away with the Best UK Album award for 'Rise'.

Gabrielle was also one of the live performers at the Lisa 'Left-Eye' Lopes/Trevor Nelson-hosted show, alongside Sisqo, Donell Jones, Jill Smith and a comeback from '80s soul diva Sade.

Picking up his awards, Craig David told the audience it was an "amazing feeling". "For me to come from nowhere and win all these awards is great," he said. "I just keep it real, and I have written songs from my heart and performed them how they should be performed."

And you can catch it all tonight October 5th Channel 4 at 10pm....
